Well, for me living in Eastern Pennsylvania; I would eventually have a shorter drive to the beach.
I think that it will take such a long time for water levels to rise that it will give people a chance to relocate.
I used to live in Ft.Lauderdale Florida. There was this old condemmed hotel south of me. It was built close to the beach over a hundred years ago. Through time the water has risen to the hotels edge.
In fact when the tide is high the water hits the hotel.
We could be looking at a foot or less a year of rising water.
That isn't the worst part. The hurricane season is also changing slowly not to mention that the northern states are experiencing tornados more frequently then they have ever had in the past.
I know that compaired to 30 years ago the winters here have become allot milder.
My personal opinion is that the earth goes through atmospheric and weather cycles. With our life span being so short we have noticed the smaller cycles, But I think there is an overall very large cycle in which the earth was more tropical millions of years ago.
Certain rock formation studies have proved that intense heat heat was a product if thier creation. We also know that there was much more volcanic activity millions of years ago. Therefore proving that the earth was much warmer.
Very interesting topic!

Its already happening. The poles are melting, causing the level of oceans to rise. Tha water is becoming warmer and the air is becoming more unsteady ( caused by the warmth), this causes more extreme situations like floods, earthquakes and hurricanes.

global warming, but global warming will only make the oceans rise 20 feet if all the ice melts, so if you are 50 feet above sea level, you should be ok
