There are available gas heaters for above ground pools. Typically, the cost of the heater, installation, and gas line are very nearly the same as the cost of the pool, though. Then there is the operating cost, which is substantial. Think twice before making a decision.

Yes it can be done, but very expensive- you can use an ordinary Water Heater, in a closed system with a Circulation pump for the pool only and raise the temp, some- keep the pool covered at night- Solar Cover sounds like a good idea.

probably but it would be expensive. Go to a pool store and buy a solar cover they help alot
