I just got a Gucci shirt in chocolate brown with a slight sheen. It looks really cool. However, I have never owned a dressy chololate brown shirt before so I am not sure what color pants and shoes to wear with it. Any ideas?

Wear lighter brown pants than your shirt or a even a grey pant. Do NOT wear black---ever---and I wouldn't wear dark brown pants, as it can look monochromatic and dull. So brown shirt, lighter brown or khaki pants, brown shoes. NO BLACK AND BROWN MIX!!

Wear lighter colored pants, like a pair of stone colored chinos. Jeans of any shade would do too. For shoes? Lay off the black and stick to a chocolate/ brown color family instead. Good luck!

You can either wear jeans or khakis. You MUST wear brown shoes and a brown belt is also necessary to set the look off. : )
