Some manufactures use a special fitting on fuel lines at the filter which require a special wrench.
Go to any chain auto parts store, and they can tell you where the filter is and which wrench you will need to change it.

NOTE to Beyond the stars:It's spelled "Attempt".If you can't spell, don't correct others.

this fuel filter is mounted on the frame rail and is held in place by a big worm gear clamp. the filter has a SPRING LOCK and needs a special tool to release it.
In the trunk is a fuel cut off switch, a hard tap on this switch will disable the fuel pump. start car and wait until it dies . this will release the fuel pressure from the line.
Put the release tool on fuel line and push in to release lock and pull the line off. you may have to try this a few time to get it to release. remove both lines undo band clamp and remove filter. install filter paying attention to direction flow and tighten clamps and push lines on and they should clip in place test to see that they are secure.
Push fuel rest button and cycle ignition key 2-3 times to prime fuel lines and check for leaks.
Start car.
You should have a pan or small bucket to catch fuel as it comes out of filter and wear safety goggles.
You will also need to put vehicle on jack stands to get under it
remember there is always time for SAFETY.

I think it is against the frame rail, before you take it apart disconnect positive terminal of the battery. And be careful because it is under pressure and will shoot gas all over you !!!
