Almost all girls are material girls. Some accept it openly while others practise it secretly.
Marriages have become more a matter of convenience than of love.
Decision -making & women's abilities on it are poles apart.Women are created to confuse even the clear-headed men around them!
Why worry? Men are there to do that worrying part of life! Nothing personal, of course!:)

Wouldn't it be so nice if there were some protective bubble where people could raise their children away from such material concerns? Alas, that would either be in a cult or in a famine in a third world country. And in some third world countries that come through their famines, after time, materialism also takes over.
What is an inner self? Do you mean the Buddhist idea of the "true self"? Or the Christian idea of the "soul"? Or simply the innocent aspect of one's personality? Then would you say Bill Gates counts either way (though he is, of course, not a girl). How about his wife? Does having and wanting things exclude charity of the heart, passion and compassion for fellow man, for those less fortunate, for the underdog?
Or do you mean that you feel materialistic young girls are more prone to sleep around? Is that the sort "decision" you mean? There are people who will sleep with someone for food.... there are people who sleep with someone for a bigger house than their first husband could give them... they are called second wives, not prostitutes, but....

Material girls are shallow keeping up with the " trends of life" they cannot be their own individuals.. I like to lead and make up my own style lokos be creative myself. if they all dont like it who cares as long as im happy. Material ppl have no real goals for their inner self.copy cats less creative and it is sad we think 100 sneakers are really better than those less. same with jeans and makeup. if you be materialistic are you that so rich that you can maintain that image forever.. to me its fake.. a temp pacifier for those who need something as something in their life is missing they want to be accepted more so if they have things.. things own ppl short of an addicts way of life. from what i been told by many men they would marry a girl who is less materialistic and vain but they do admire to look at the fancy crap they strut with but for maintenance in a relationship the guys cant handle it to to much .. they are getting detached from who they can be it is easier to be a carbon copy ugh.. I mean come on picture this scenario from a chik.. oh i have to buy the 26 dollar mascara when a 8 dollar tube works just as well or pay 35 bux for a victorias secret bra who sees it under clothes verses a 10 dollar one just as pretty and works just as well from lerners and for tommy hilgfigger jeans tag to be shown so u all know " I is styling now im all that up with bux etc" who sees the dang tag when ur shirt covers the tag to begin with.. you think victorias secret thongs are worth 16 bux & up for the same ones for 3 bux elsewhere they are made the same. your paying for a tag.. that passes intime fades out and trends go fast.. oh I cant go out today to the festival as i have to get my fake nail glued on etc my goodness. shallow..their moms who let this happen have some responsibility uppity yentas..princess syndrome clones.

Girls are a little materialistic by nature{by my experience off course}. But often they do make the right decision. A girl will only commit herself when she has completely considered the pros and cons....in this they are much better than boys.

Not only material girls, I think girls like material things. With our fast moving society with work, school, home and sometimes all three, we get caught up with just keep up. Forgetting what we want as individuals.

I'm sure they are. They're so materialistic they can't decide properly. I would never in my life be a material girl, so that's just my opinion.

I think a lot of things in our society tend to separate us from our inner selves, and striving for money is certainly one of them.
