Italy has a good political system? Italian government is the laughing stock of Euope, they can barely hold their cabinets together or allow the presidents, such as Berlusconi, to swindle the country for millions. Italy is the last country we want to borrow lessons on democracy from
America? America has the constitution sure, but it can be amended..it means nothing if it can be just hacked apart whenever a President feels liek it...besides, the Death Penalty and Americas prison populationsare a shame on Western Democracy..over 1 million people in prison? Death sentances? Barbaric
The Uk, which i am a resident of, is still at heart an inward looking, barbarous country. We hate all things 'foreign' and racism comes so naturally to us, its second-nature.
I think the only country of any merit in this world is Germany. They rebuilt after the fall of the wall, moved on from the crimes of its past leaders and have become the engine fo Europe. Their welfare systems are efficent and generous, its history and arcitecture is second to none and, low and behold, their civilised!

I think the world should come together and make rules and regulations and have it so everyone would be entilted to free healthcare payed for threw taxes. A good social security system for the entire world, so no one will starve or be homeless etc, and a prision system that actually works for the victims.
I give up they all s**k to high heaven, and they all s**k to hell!
And anyone who thinks the USA does is a moron, because if they did then why would they need to create wars with other countries... and besides before Bush ever got in to the Presidency he said he wasn't to be a great war president... so you all should have known what was coming...

Sadly, to have a Utopia is an impossibility... With all the corruption out there, and that is not solely limited to the US, I don't believe that there truly is an entire country out there with completely pure motives. That just doesn't make good politics. When you see anything from a politician referring to the general well-being of the public, it usually is bait for a vote, or there is something attached to it through legislation, or a combination of the above.

I always think countries, like Norway, Sweden, Switzerland are places that I would like to live. I dislike see large discrepancies in the standard of living of people. Hence I don't like being an luxurious cruise amidst poverty... it is such human sadness and ugliness. It is just not my cup of tea. I like pretty places, with happy people. Maybe like the hobbits!!
