The Meaning? Hmm... I guess it is the same meaning as ANY national anthem.

We spend a lot of time standing on guard.
What we are guarding is hard to say. Very likely we are guarding it from the Americans.
Only our sons have "true patriot love", apparently. The daughters are all traitors.
Our hearts glow, which sounds medically unsettling.
