Should I use sterile buffers for the the purification of his-tagged proteins? Thanks.?

Should I just sterilize the water for the buffers? Or should I make the buffers and sterilize them? Will that damage the buffers? Thanks.

Prepare the buffer and then filter sterilize with a 0.22 micron filter

Bellerophon's right - sterile-filter the buffer through 0.22micron filter.

I'd just use alcohol my mama told me it kills everything.
