In Bangor, Maine USA, they are all colors. There is a Yellow Cab CO. and they have yellow cabs, Town Taxi has all sorts of Colors as do DIck's Taxi, (the largest in the area) Penobscot Taxi, A-1 Taxi, Airport Rivercity Taxi. They buy used sedans from private buyers and add the toplight, meter and Radios to these stock sedans and Viola, instant Taxi!

There are all sorts of colors on different Taxi's here. Every thing from vans to cars and I even saw a Limousine the other day. Don't know how he or she makes money on that one.

We have all the colours of the rainbow as the drivers use whatever car or van they can.
The taxis just have to be clean and able to pass a safety inspection.

Your use of English is confusing, but the colour of the Taxi here is white.
The city of Brighton which is our nearest city has white taxis with black bonnet (hood) and blach boot (trunk).

Black with Yellow Hoods and Trunks and lighted sign on the Roof. The name on the Doors is also Yellow.
