This is in reference to the Germany/ Argentina game....Many people around me comment that the ref's favor'd Germany (with the unnecessary carding and calls) that lead to Argentina's Lost. Since Germany is the Host Country...is it political that they should be get far in the world cup, the final's and maybe win it all???

Excuses excuses.... If you go back far enough you'll see similar posts from the fans of every other team who've been knocked out. I watched the match and didn't see anything that seemed biased towards one side though yes mistakes were made.
But yeah, FORZA ITALIA!!!

That is nonsense. The refs in this World Cup are so bad that, if they tried to throw a game to one team, it would probably go the other way.
This is just bad sportsmanship, poor loser syndrome from fans of teams that have been eliminated. Argentina played a worse game than Germany (neither played particularly well). That is why they lost. How sad that their team was not able to cheat its way ahead in this World Cup, as they have in the past!

Yes. If the ref hadn't favored them, Argentina would have knocked out the host team (but alas, we can't have *that* happen again!), crowd support or not. Between all the free kicks the ref didn't give us, the foul on Abbondanzieri, and the foul on Maxi, we could probably have scored another 2 goals, especially with Tevez, Sorin, and Maxi himself playing the way they were.

I didn't feel that way until Germany played Argentina and the ref didn't give German players any yellow or red cards!! So unfair!

That is common thing on every big competition. But, it is not only host team. Refs have favorized other "famous" national teams like Netherlands and Italy...
