Yeah they do, but the clips in the wires are a little tricky. Sometimes they'll break off on the plug itself, but if you plan on replacing those as well (which I don't know why you wouldn't), then it won't be a problem. Also, it kinda helps to push down on the boot of the wires and then wrap your fingers around it--almost like you're holding a cigarette, and pull fast.

spark plug wires always have to come off when changing the plugs, the 5.3 and some of the other engines have plug boots that connect directly to the coil, and the coil must be removed to replace the plugs

if the vehicle is inventory purchase oem alternative, or you're dropping $$ , your call. NGKs are good, AND NO they don't look to be in straight forward words good for imports!. if the vehicle has any hi performance equipment, like higher gas injectors or a hi performance ignition coil/p.c.. like msd purchase them from a racing elements catalog. BTW your Ford wreck out is an similar as a Mazda Tribute. very few nutrition for recommendations.

They do on every engine, they are separate components, sometimes they just get stuck, you may even brake the wire,so twist the wire before pulling
