The guy wasn't even hurt. If Rooney wanted to get sent off, he may as well have made an impression. Who thinks that he screwed up the whole game for England and made them lose?

and...

Who thinks that Beckham is really bad at taking free kicks and should let Gerrard or Lampard take them in the future and that he should just stay off?

Ok, I geuss taht I have just never seen Beckham take a nice free kick, except for that one against ecuador, but that was the only one, the only place where I have seen him play as well as any of the other England players. As far as Rooney getting the red card, in Europe, they showed the bit where he heeled the guy in the nuts over and over, not the bit where he pushed Ronaldo, but I couldn't understand what they were saying... Did anyone see that game where a player pulled the whistle out of the refs mouth to prevent him from calling a foul against him? I can't remember what game it was, it might have been italy australia, but THat was much more worthy of a booking than Rooney's litle push and he didn't even get called. I don't think that this system of refing is working anymore.

Rooney did not get sent off for kicking a fallen player. He was ejected for pushing Cristiano Ronaldo who was arguing with the Ref for a severe penalty. Rooney merely helped the Ref make up his mind. This brings to mind the question, should Rooney not be docked his Quarter Final Fee for severely hurting England's chances? They were not doing too badly up to that point.

rooney wasnt booked for that..he was booked for a little push on ronaldo..ronaldo barely nudged from that..i think the referee has made the worst decision of his life by sending rooney off..it would've been a different case if rooney pushed ronaldo so hard..we've seen some bad red card decision in this world cup..but that one tops them all..

i still think that beckham tops the england team in terms of taking free kick..no one is better than him..that's what he's well known for..but the only problem about becks is he is always inconsistent..sometimes he performed very very well and sometimes he mess up..if u watched the england friendly game before this world cup, he played so marvelously..creating plenty of chances and goal scoring opportunity..but in this world cup his form has dropped down..and so as lampard..

I think NO ONE !!!!

even when Beckham is not ready he`ll do his best for freekicks and roney is good if you do not show his great play I mean if you don`t say that he is great every time ! I think he was not as great as he was ( before ! )
