My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Will lovemaking feel different? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Well any answers/advice would help really.

it is functionally different, after circumcision the penis has about 1/3 less skin and will not slide in its sheath, so there will be more friction. you may need to start using a water soluble lubricant when you and your husband have intercourse, but you might not.

the shape of his erection may change also because of scar tissue, some men tend to curve to one side or the other, or even up or down.

other than those two it should be about the same on your end, but your husband will have less sensitivity again due to scar tissue and reduce nerve endings and skin surface.

This is a very controversial topic so you will get different opinions from almost everyone.
I will stray from giving my opinion on this.

If he wants to get circumcised then so be it, He will loose a little bit of feeling from getting rid of some of his nerve endings in the foreskin. Does he have a reason for wanting to get it done? Some men feel that being uncirc isn't for them, which isn't a bad thing but some like it intact. There is no higher chance of infection if the man takes very good care of himself and his hygiene is at the top of his game. Some people think uncirc is dirty and prone to infection which isn't the case as long its cleaned properly.

I prefer circumcised to uncircumcised, some woman feel differently so it really depends on the woman herself. Its not that much of a difference.

It will be much better for him, his hygiene will be much better and I have heard that circumcised men enjoy sex more. There is ansolutely nothing wrong about it, everything about circumcision is good! The only thing is I know he will be in a lot of discomfort for a while. A friend of mine had that done at 18yo and he was in bed for 2 weeks with some discomfort, but he says that's one of the best things he could have ever done.

Getting circumcised is a great idea. Did you know that a man who isn't oftenly get yeast infections if they don't properly wash and clean there self? I also heard that it is very pain as he age. { Get plenty of pain meds} It shouldn't be a difference. I have never been with a uncircumcised penis it looks Nasty.

nothing will change, but he will lose sensitivity with a circumsision. as for the ladies and the bacteria B/S. its only a myth. it all depends on how he cleans his area. just like if a girl never washes her area, do you expect it not to get infected? just as a man, washing his genitals regularly, there shouldnt be any infections.

besides we all have bacteria in and out of our bodies its a normal thing, however infections are not. be advised if he goes through with it, no sex for at least 4 to 6 weeks. its takes a while for the skin in that region to heal.

Please let him get circumcised. It will be better for both of you. It may be painful for him at first. It is healthier..fewer crevises for bacteria to hide. Less skin the more pleasure orally and with a hand job for him...much easier for you.

I actually asked my partner to have it done. My past bf's were circumcised. I really prefer it. If he does not clean himself thoroughly, he can bring you nasty little bacterial infections.

you need to tell him to rethink that...its alot harder for a adult to go through that because of the risk of infection and its very painfull for the patient...and you gotta think you cant have sex with him for at least 4 week or more!
