Because everyone wanted to knock them out and for cryin out loud it's France. No one took them seriously.

Because since the first game Brazil played at this world cup they haven't been themselves. I wonder how can be possible a soccer player forget from day to night their skills developed during all their live?.... my answer to this question was responded when I was informed the world cup Brazilians soccer committee had left Germany one day before the game between Brazil X France.
PS: After all the Brazilians players didn't seem so upset with their lost. The only thing wouldn't get me upset of loosing a game would be winning something else, more valuable for most people of this days.

Brazil sucks, have you learned your lesson- Don't hop on the band wagon and next time use your brain to make a pick. In football, Europeans will always prevail over the world.

i dont know. i am still shocked. i firmly believed brazil would have walked over france. i guess d players were just as confident in themselves as i was in them that they got overconfident and were taken by surprise. i still believe they were the team with the most talent but unfortunately something was lacking. In 2010 i am sure they wont let this happen again though.

they still have the best skills ever but they need a coach..carlos alberto should better work as an office boy for the committee !

They didn't underestimated anybody. They played the best they can. People are the ones giving them too much credit to an average team.
