A soft smoky brown would really show your eyes off. Dont use blue; if you use shadow the same colour as your eyes, it makes your eyes " disappear". Good quality shadows like Clarins and Max Factor have better and more subtle shades than the cheapo ones. Use a dark brown mascara, not black.

My advice is to use a shimmering medium brown on your lower lids and a light brown to beige on your upper lids with a blue contour line in between the two brown colors this will inhence your blue eyes yet not dull down your complextion with the little bit of shimmer brightening your eyes

I agree with the ones that aswered light brown or mauve. These colors will really make the blue in your eyes pop out.

Browns, pinks and peaches would look beautiful on you! You can always go the the cosmetic counter and have a pro show you how to apply them, and what the perfect color would be. Those ladies are wonderful at what they do, and most are very sweet, patient, and helpful! (No charge either - unless you decide you love the make-up and want to buy it.)

One of the makeup companies, and now I can't remember which one, makes eye shadow strickly based on eye color. I know a couple of ladies from work that use it, and it really makes their eye color pop out. For some reason I'm thinking Loreal, but that may not be it.

It depends what tone of skin you have. On any tone dont use brown or dark colors in the summer, those are for fall. I'll tell you all the shades for different tones of skin.
Dark(black)- soft blues or pinks
Tan- any bright color
In between- soft colors
Pale- soft pink

Go to your local department store. The makeup consultants will be glad to try different shades for you. You don't have to make a purchase. Go on a day that is not so busy. They are marketing top sales on the weekend. During the week they need something to do with their time.

Match it with your hair (light brown) rather than your eyes, it will highlight your eyes.

Just use light colours that give you a more natural look.
