Is it cause they are getting too hot in the sun or is it something to do with them being helium quality baloons that have been blown up manually (decided the helium gas was too dear in the end)
please someone tell me. 8 have popped in the last hour and at this rate there won't be any left for when the party starts :-(

Helium is like Oxygen when contained they both expand in heat, also when helium is contained you will get a louder pop then if the balloons were filled with air.
Bring your balloons inside until 15-20 minutes before the party and if you fill any more balloons up don't put as much air or helium in them.
Cause and effect isn't it nice. Put to much in a balloon and it will pop not enough and it won't stay up.
Or maybe you just got a bad batch of balloons and you didn't do anything wrong.
Have fun with your party, don't let the balloons get you down.

Its the heat as the helium quality ballons are metallic and the heat will warm them up inside and cause them to burst!

as the air gets warmer, the volume of the air gets bigger. The balloon will get bigger and will eventually pop.
The volume of the air gets bigger because the air atoms move faster at a high temperature.
To prevent them from popping you should put less air in the balloons!

the material that the baloon is made from can no longer sustain against the pressure of the substance it contains under its current condition

they are over filled...whoever filled them didnt take into consideration(as you mentioned) that whatever is going to be inside will expand with the heat

It's simple, they pop because they hate you and want to make your life miserable.
