the US should be fair and balanced like that jerk from fox news channel claims to be. (the no spin guy :^( Reaching a peacful reselution between the two parties involved. The US should not condone the kidnapping and support any law enforcement action required but also respect the palestinians statehood and govt. i.e. not condone Israels militaristic atacks on civilians, infrastructure, or govt for the actions of an underground terrorist group.

The United States has long maintained a posture of trying to "police" the world. Not sure if that is a good idea, but I suspect that changing our posture frequently is a worse choice, so I believe the US should continue to try to calm situations if possible, which may not be possible for this situation - it hasn't been going on for 60 years, it's been going on for 6000 years. A good part of that period has involved swaps of who owns the property - what happened in 1947, or whatt happened in 1967, etcetera, is only near the end of a long string of such swaps. My thought is they should both "just get over it" and move on.

if you don't realize how israel just gave land back to palestine after fighting for 40 years you have to watch the news. israel acts like a country not a bunch of terrorists. in palestines constitution it is stated that israel is not a country and thats their main standpoint as a government. also more than 50 % of palestinians voted for that. to me palestine is clearly run by terrorists.
not to answer your question i don't feel right now the us should get involved we dont want another vietnam. israel has one of the strongest armies in the world it has a system where every person that turns 18 has to go into the army for 3 years woman for 2 and after that they go into the reserve so israel is totally able to stand up for itself. if palestine asks for support from the us i dont believe americans should help palestine unless israel were to start acting like terrorists

The U.S. should work at bringing peace to the region through diplomacy and in conjunction with the U.N.
We should, and we do, support Israel. The Hamas government in Palestine has openly called for the destruction of the state of Israel. That is plainly wrong.

The Palestinians are nothing but thugs and terrorists.
Israel is a democracy with a strong economy and tolerance towards other cultures.
The choice is obvious. The US should continue their strong support of Israel.

It is not a US problem and the support of the US is not required. Isreal will eventually rationalize its' decision to nuke Palestine.

US should mind their on bussnises and wars(Iraq and Afghanistan) and let UN deal with the situation in Israel.
Israel should start respecting the UN resolutin and accept a Palestinian state .
And Palestinians should accept a two state solution and learn to live alongside Israel.

We've always been more inclined to side with Israel. I don't think we should be siding with anyone. We should simply be the mediator.
