Unfortunately for both of them, it's either the Tigers or White Sox so far. I say unfortunately because they're in the same division, so they have to keep playing each other, and only one of them can win the division. The other is almost sure to be the wild card.
The Tigers have been playing better so far, but the White Sox are pretty scary when you consider how good their record is even though they haven't played as well as they could yet.

The Boston Red Sox have the best team in baseball. They have David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, and the great d. And they have Schilling, Beckett, and the best closer with Papelbon.

The White Sox have the most well rounded club (Hitting, Pitching, and Experience), however, we are not even to the break yet so it is hard to say who will be the "best" this year.
