Don't drink coffee but I have the same problem if I order milk. They only have whole or 2% and when you drink skim anything else is to rich for you to really enjoy it, but if I really want it I order it anyway.

NO, I don't complain BUT, I remember it an I don't order it again...I think that the fact they cannot have a container for half n half for customers says something about a restaurant..it is definitely the classier way to go.....how about when you ASK for 1/2 n/1/2 and they bring milk..you pour it in the cup of coffee and ICK!!!!!
I think most decent places have chilled 1/2 n 1/2.....its a BAD sign if the cream is warm too!

My grandpa does!!!
He lives on the East Coast and when he comes to visit us in the Midwest.
The restaurants usually serve the powder fake stuff. He thinks it is ridiculous. We are in farm country and NO cream or milk on the table for coffee or tea. And when he asks for cream they give him a weird look like what for! Then he says OKAY Milk, do you have that, the liquid kind!

No, I've worked in restaurants that serve the real stuff for coffee but then use the fake in the back only in a failed effort to save money

Nope. I don't think that solves anything. If I know I want coffee, I just go somewhere else the next time. If you are stuck on going to that particular restaurant, you can get the little moo's individual half-and-halfs that don't have to be refrigerated and bring your own!

BUT I perfer real lemons for my tea so if they don't have real I am disapointted and ask for cola instead,so to answer your q if I wanted real cream & they did not have it I would order water or cola but I would not complain that does not do any good the wait staff just work there they do not want your complaint but comments are welcome

love the real stuff, but less calories in the fake. i'll take the fake and save the calories for a donut with the coffee.

I always ask for the last drop to be removed from Maxwell House coffee. Its good to the last drop! If its not good I dont want it.

Don't complain! Just recommend they that have available the items you like. More input like this will make your favorite place more enjoyable and the managers will really appreciate it.
