i've noticed this too. And the only logical reason they act tough is so that they won't be pushed around by the other guys in the group.
All of a sudden, you're sittin in the backseat, then the trunk, then you're buying all the time, parties are always at your house, etc. Oh, and say goodbye to your woman.

I can answer this from past experience: so they don't look like wimps! For some men, being an outcast just isn't an option, so if some guy starts to act tough around friends, it means he's just trying to fit in and stay cool. If you have a friend thats like this, either talk to him about this or find a new friend.

he's adapting his habit to the ecosystem he's in. he's worried, both consciously or subconsciously, about how he's perceived by utilizing the folk round him, and alterations his habit to verify the dominant team. If he had some fellows round yet quite in many circumstances women persons, that is in all probability he'd stay beautiful. Shift the scales any opposite direction, besides the undeniable fact that, and he will probable change right into a "guy's guy." positioned him in a set of guys who do not swear and shaggy dog tale and wrassle, and he received't do those issues then, both.

Men are macho and act tough around their friends because it makes up for their lack of true manhood. True men do not have to show off their bravado....they just have it. I think it has to do with lack of penis size. So next time you see a man acting in that manner - just smile and know he has a little penis and feels inferior. You don't have to say anything - he already knows it.

Now I was not there, so don't take this personally, but maybe you cut him off and did not notice? He might have done it because he felt you were driving to slow. Maybe one of the guys inside said, "hey, I dare you to give this guy the finger"... next time try saying, "no thank you, Im hetro" or "your not my type, but thanks" or, "no, just did your mother" Men... maybe he was drunk.

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most?
Saying something and wishing you hadn't?
Or saying nothing and wishing you had?
I guess the most important things are the hardest things to say.
Don't be afraid to tell someone you love them.
If you do, they might break your heart
If you don't, you might break theirs.

so if the man didn't do what he feels like doing, he might go bonkers.

men act tough around their friends, is just because they need to show off , to show they are strong, they won't be useless... Men have the instinct to be proud of themselves so in order not to be brought down, they have to show a strong image of themselves... Just ignore those people who show a superiority which most of the time isn't their own personnality...

Men don't, boys do. They're trying to prove their masculinity which hasn't finished developing yet. Unfortunately, some boys get clear through adulthood before it develops.
