I was doing My internship working as an electrician in motor home factory. I was replacing the main lead contacts in a hearrt interface inverter while holding the positive and negative leads from the 10 kilowatt generator.
Some complete idiot removed the lock out safety tag and flipped the main breaker.
Nearly the full 10 kilo watts coursed through me burning my hands melting a couple fillings in my teeth and stopping my heart.
I woke up with a few cracked ribs from CPR a soaring headache and a nervous twitch that took months to completely go away.
I was fortunate that there was so much juice the jolt was only a couple seconds before all the Klixon breakers blew out.
This happen on a Wednesday I went back to work on the Monday.
When I returned to work I went back to the cabinet shop found that moron and punched him right in the face.
He complained to his supervisor who said Hey you killed him I think he took it pretty well.
I remember the amazing amount of pain and a massive flash of light but sadly I never heard any choir or say any dead relatives No tunnel no one welcoming me on or inviting me into the light.
No one telling me to go back.
Just nothing empty black nothing.
Aside from that been shot at more then once while in the Army.
And I was in a helicopter that crashed.
So just a few close calls.
Well I had viral pneumonia as a side effect from having pox at age 27 that landed me in the hospital and put me in a coma for a couple days.
Don't remember a thing.

I was in a car accident in 1993 and when pulled from the wreck I had no pulse or breathing. It took them 45 minutes at the scene to get me stable enough for transport to the hospital. I woke up for a few seconds in the ambulance with a tube down my throat and hearing the paramedic saying "pupils are fixed and dilated". When I awoke in the hospital ICU the next day, my face and body only worked on one side due to head trauma. They told my family that I would not survive the injuries I had sustained and I spent several days in ICU before they did surgery on my arm. I have fully recovered now and have only a droopy eyelid (from the lack of oxygenated blood) as a reminder. I am very lucky to have survived and I cherish life every day.

I had no idea how to rid a bike except for balancing with both feet on the ground. I took the bike to the top of a hill and rode down it cause I wanted to be like all the big kids. I had no idea how the brakes work and I kept gaining speed. I got supper scared jacked the frotn brake as hard as I could and piled it into a gravel driveway. I wasen't wearing a helemt and it was bad news.

I was once out to a bonfire rave party in North Devon on Abbot-sham cliffs when i sat down on a log to try a chat this gorgeous looking girl up, but failed pathetically and she stood up. The log i was sitting on rolled and behind me was darkness and that's were i, and log ended up!! It was the edge of the cliff and backwards down i fell, i grasped at any thing i could and ended with a bonsai tree shaped twig, i also had time to look at it in disgust before the ground hit me. It was very close to death as i missed all the rocks to fall onto a soft watery sandy mess!!

I was in france on a family vacation. I was walking across the street and suddenly I felt dizzy. Someone yelled to move. I didn't really understand but I moved anyways. A fast car sped by. I moved just in time. its not really exciting or anything, but I am sure glad someone told me to move.

i had a very bad car crash about 10 years ago which i walked away from with only a few cuts and bruises- i knew one of the firemen who told me that it was rare for anyone to survive a crash like that, let alone walk away from it! i went to the salvage yard to see my car the next day, and it was all crushed and mangled- i couldn't even get into the drivers seat!!! very lucky my guardian angel was watching me x
