Good crap on a stick, doesn't anyone find that just a dash too stereo typical?
Yes, we listen to Beethoven and Mozart only. We only play polo golf, tennis and soccer. We drink tea 10 times a day and love our crumpets toasted.

You might as well ask what music do people in the United States listen to. There is a huge mixture of tastes and demographics. Classical, Big Band, Swing, Latin, Pop, Rock, Rap, Techno, Disco, etc... If you are asking what the top 10 popular songs are there, I'm sure you can Google that perhaps by searching "top hits in Great Britain" or similar.

in england they listen to american music as well as english music, there's loads of great stuff over where you are, and loads over here as well, but there's also loads of rubbish from both places as well, unfortunately. and the same goes for Ireland, where I am, although not many bands from britain get big overseas, for some reason or other.
oh yeah, and you DON'T have ALL the good stuff, English rock music is some of the best ever, it just doesn't seem to travel very far anymore.
Now, can you remember where The Beatles came from??????
and only some english people hate america. most of them just hate Bush! (well doesn't everyone the world over?)

A vast majority of English people listen to what the radio and ,especially, the fashionable Press(not Pull) decide what they should listen to. They are mindless zombies(nothing wrong with that) who do not think for themselves. They are fashion victims walking and talking.Gee i feel sorry for the soldiers and compliment them on not letting this shite run and rule.

I've just spent a year in London, and the Sugababes are huge there right now. James Blunt, Coldplay, and the Pussycat Dolls have a pretty large following as well.

That depends on their preference. American musicians are not just popular and do tours in American. When foreign musicians make hits, we know them. Michael Jackson and Elvis have fans from one corner of the Earth to Timbuktu.
