Actually, not all Americans love him so much.
Please don't assume that all Americans voted for him and liked him.
I just turned 18 so I didn't vote for anyone, but if I had a choice back then I would not have voted for him.
Obviously a lot of people do like him, but just not everyone..

People who love George Bush are statistically less educated, and more religious. They have been trained not to question authority.
I think that the people who have the time to know what is going on are actually getting rich as oil prices and military spending escalate out of control.
There are the poor who just believe whatever is advertised to them. Besides, what else is Saudi Arabia going to spend their money on? They have bought everything else, why not buy an American election? I wonder if their tax laws allow them to write off buying a presidency? At least they are comprehensive making sure that he also had the house and the senate in order to pull a trifecta for their power play. I wonder if they learned that being educated at our Universities?
Bush is endorsed by religious people. Which is weird - why are religious people always so thrilled with war?
Then there are the rest of us who need to get to work to pay for this circus.
Really in the end, it doesn't matter if we approve, or disapprove (as 2/3 of the people do) Bush can just fix the election anyway. How strange that the election came down to votes in Florida where his brother was Governor? Isn't Florida one of the very first time zones to vote and close the voting booths?
Thank Goodness that he can't be elected again. There is absolutely no one who could be a worse president.

Who said we all do? ... lol ... But anyway, I think its a combination of the timing with the 9/11 tragedy and his formulaic, macho man political rheotoric (which has now come back to bite him in the butt, by the way). He also had a "great" speech writer (I forget his name now) and a PR machine that where extremely successful at twisting both words and issues in their favor; and all at this vulnerable time in America's history where we couldn't do anything with our anger and grief as individuals, so we needed a politcal figure to step into the vaccum and do it for us; all the while, pressing forward their own agenda with the left hand while the right hand was pointing the finger at teorrist's while saying "look at how horrible they are." And they are in the sense that they have done and are still doing horrific things even to innocent people. But still, Bush should also take a look at his faults and the faults within our foriegn policies so that others around the world will be less likely to turn to teorrism as a way to get their political points across. Ofcourse there will still be other groups around that will not be satisfied and will still use violence against innocent people but at least then they will not have a good excuss to do so, and therefore can not possibly seen as being right by any reasonable person. But this is a rational view. Generally, soon after the tower fell, if you stood up and said "America is the greatest nation ever and our enemies are evil dooers" you where already half way to being elected to political office. That's all Bush had to do, and as everyone knows, he did it very often. And let's not forget the Evangelical movement over the last past two terms and his use of the Christian religion and his "faith" to gain a large and solid voter base.... :)))

There are approximately 300 million Americans in the United States. Bush barely won, and his opponent wasn't a strong candidate. After the election, his popularity has decreased even more. Current polls show his popularity at about 33%. That means about 2/3 of the United States does not love George W. Bush... that's about 200 million Americans.
And, as a side note, I certainly did not vote for him. But even many who did regret it.

I don't think Americans LOVE George Bush so much! I think we are stuck with him for a couple more years of incompetence! Regretably, I voted for him the first time around but not the second. He reached his level of competence and functionality as governor!

Actually, the voting was really close. Never in history has a man won a presidency on so little votes...was like 50.1% of votes. And nearly both times. It's an indicator that everyone should vote!
Another thing, I'll tell ya what...AMERICANS LOVE AMERICA!!
NO APPOLOGY FOR THAT!
Without America so many countries would cease to be!

I did not vote for him. Hey funny thing about Bush . He has an IQ around 81 . This means if he actually won the vote . At least 51 % got taken by him . so the average IQ must be below 81 .

Actually his polls are down below 50% recently. However I do support him. Although I disagree with a lot of his actions, there are two main reasons I support him. ONE: He has this country's DEFENSE at heart, not just what people think of him, but he puts an effort to protect this country regardless of what people think. TWO: He does what he says he will do. He does not change his plan because of political pressure now pressure from other nations. He said he would NOT leave I raq until it is stable, and has reduced forces there when able yet keeping his promise. We are still there. He said that the border between US and Mexico is full of holes and needs more protection, and he is using means at hand to fix them even though there was a major outcry from illegal and legal immigrants already in the US.
