If you are truly concerned that the program might cause damage, use the "system restore" function in Windows XP to rollback the system as it was prior to the install.

If the add or remove wizard will not remove them, try putting the cd back in the drive and see if there is an uninstall option on the cd that will remove it from your system. Our go to your start menu and programs and see if there is an uninstall in the menu folder for that program.

try installing the program using exactly the same settings as the time you cancelled the installation. When it's done, uninstall it and everything should be fine.

Since it probably did not add any data to the system registry, you're most likely fine just deleting the directory it was installed in. Of if you want the program installed, just re-installing over it. the directory it is in should be something like: "C:\Program Files\companyname\appname" or "C:\Program Files\appname"

scroll down the list til you see the program you want removed then click on it and select remove.

you could go to the directory under program files and delete it that way, but remember registry entries would still be there so try clean that up with a registry cleaner or contact the software company to see if it's a known problem that they can help you with

hi dude,
u can delete a programme or anything from the computer
by choosing CONTROL PANNEL from start menu.
then click on ADD OR REMOVE ........... then choose the
installed item and delete it from the right side
