Ricky Skaggs is the MAN!!!! I eat, sleep and breathe bluegrass!!! I live in the hills of East Tennessee, and that's what people here listen to and pick! My Dad played professional bluegrass music on the road, and they played several festivals with Ricky! He is an awsome mandolin picker and singer. He has an awsome band! He's a great bluegrasser!!!

Oh yeah Ricky Skaggs is like the Eddie Van Halen of Bluegrass Music he is totally awsome. Especially playing the mandolin. He sings this really cool song called the Highway 40 blues. He has alot of good music though. I just seen him play in Branson Mo. last month. I still like his older material better than his new stuff though.

Ricky is one heck of a bluegrass musician..but back in the eighties he totally killed in country music! like "Heartbroke" "Honey (open that door)" "I don't care" "Don't Cheat In Our Hometown" "Highway Forty Blues" "Uncle Pen" "Country Boy" "I Wouldn't Change You If I Could" "You've Left A Wound (Time Can't Erase)" "Sweet Temptation" "Two Highways" "Rendezvous" "Cajun Moon" "New Star Shining (With James Taylor)" "Love's Gonna Get Ya Someday" "Love Can't Ever Get Better Than This" "One Way Rider" and i know i've left out quite a bit
