"Modernity" is something that exists in every age, that only a few people brag about. When somebody says they are the most modern, what they're really saying is they are the most wishy-washy and faddish. Modernity is the thing that is always going out of fashion.

modernity is a state of mind. It is the thinking that turns us or say leads us some way or astray. Modernity has different definitions for different people having different and divergent background. Sometimes one thing is new and modern to some people while the same thing, some other people think is old fashioned.

I do not agree. Rather I believe modernness deals with making a process of doing something more efficient. Whether that means quicker, cheaper, or convenient or a combination therein depends on the given circumstance.
