yes it is possible but it would be extremely difficult
the biggest problem is in identifying and describing features of the people that could be used to recognise them
good luck

I would tend to say yes.
When I was working on a book on programming I tried to make my own audio recorder with VB 6 and was able to get two descrete signals going at once but using two different media player VBX controls on the same form, each linked to different files.
Each VBX control has their own ID factor with Windows, each is capable of having their own descrete threads.
I would imagine the same is possible with a VBX stream video control, in which each is linked to a separate video stream.
Both would then link to the audio card, although you'd step on each other if everyone talked at once.
This is only theoretical. It's up to you to try it, even if it requires two different forms to keep the content discrete.
You will need a fast connection and a fast computer and you can expect the video to slow down from a single image to a dual image.

It may be possible but it will be extremely complex.
I think the trick will be to store a photo of the face of the person and than somehow compare it every time the webcam shows a pic......warn you it won't be reliable because webcams have very low picture quality.

There is a website thats is doing it but can't remember the URL.
Its like flickr, you upload images and you add tags to parts of an image so when you upload an image of say the same person the tag automatically applies to the new image. Cool eh ?
I think the address is Riya.com or something like that
