I think about 100-200 more years. We're using up our planet and killing each other too much. We're doomed.

Between nuclear war threats, global warming and even a comet hitting earth one can never tell. Many people worry about the year 2012 because that's when the Mayan calendar ends and they think the comet, NIBIRU, will hit the earth. That would be trippy but I dont believe it.
I think it will be a big surprise for any of us living in this generation if it does happen. I do worrry about Global Warming and what the future holds for many who will be left to live in the mess we've created. My estimated guess though, 100-200 years...and that's only if we dont elect anymore Bush's.

I would reckon only a couple of hundreds at the most. We are using up the earth's natural resources and not giving anything back. Water is getting scarcer, petrol is a problem. We do not seem to think it is a priority to investigate further how we can harness the sun and wind's power for so much more than it is used for now. Society on the whole is living for today, God help us with tomorrow.

I am glad somebody has mentioned Sodom and Gomorrah, because scriptural reference states that the earth will be worse than S & G, just prior to His return, wherein He will totally destroy the wicked, and let them 'enjoy' the company and wages of he whom they listed to obey: Satan!!!
I have 'enjoyed' him momentarily myself, and let me tell you, I do not envy them THE LEAST!!!!!
Holy writ saith, "NO man knoweth the day nor the hour ... ", but let me just say to you, I have been blessed to be given an approximation as I was exercising charity towards someone else ... It just came upon me.
So those of you fortunate enough to be within reading of this do hold so much the advantage:
The Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord's return will occur before September 2035 ... please note, I said "BEFORE" ... I did NOT say that that would be the actual time of His return.
He has, in effect, told me that it would be Before that time.
My personal opinion is that it will be within, perhaps, 2 years of that date; but it could be even earlier than that. BUT IT WILL NOT BE LATER!!!
Now, from what I understand of man and where he is heading, that timeframe sounds VERY LIKELY, even by mere weight of personal reasoning - for the earth is indeed ripening like S & G for destruction.
One of the chief features of S & G was its great steepedness in Homosexuality.
We haven't reached that state yet, but aren't we moving well along towards it?? ... and legalizing so many things concerning it??!!
Don't worry!! We'll get there alright in the next decades the way we are going!!
And we will eventually prove to be more wicked than S & G, and I can see that happening in less than 30 years!

Nobody can tell. In the bible, it is said, death will come like a thief in the night, ours might be tomorrow, tonight, next day, thousand years more, who knows? Nobody but God knows..He alone decides if we have sinned enough to have us perish..like Sodomma and Gomorrah.
