It was the big exclamation mark that rose above England when their great players missed their penalties.

Only cause none of the above have the talent or skills to reach the finals. England are the only team in the country we call Great Britain that have players that are world class players. Name players in Ireland Wales and Scotland. Who are known as world class players. Point is that when England go out to play for there country they do at least try. Wales no talent only one player to mind Ryan Giggs. I can not think of an Irish or Scottish players need i say any more. There will always be an ENGLAND.

They were all screaming PORTUGAL PORTUGAL PORTGUAL --- I know an irish person who said last week "If there are 32 teams in the world cup I will support 31 !" -- Portugal's fan numbers were increased by the total populations of Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
"Princess" and I am 100% Portuguese and hope that the full weight of FIFA falls on Rooney's BALL_ ! How's that for a fair comment on Roonie having acted the coward he is for DELIBERATELY stepping on another man's BALL_ in front of 300 million spectators ?? And as for "LEONARDO_P" yes, you DO need to say much more than that ! You should have referred to your Roonie and him embarassing England in front of 300 million people and the rest I already have said above. If it had been Portugal doing that to England you would calling us all the names on the planet. All that guy did was ask WHAT NOISE HIT ENGLAND... rather a civilized way of poling fun at your loss against portugal yesterday. No one is attacking your BALL_, chum, so take the criticism on the chin, LOL !

All those who roared for reasons of jealousy or racism should be put on a barge with people from the other side like Jason S and floated off into the north sea. In November.

England, and Brazil, were good losers yesterday. No remonstrating, no fighting after full time, no thuggery. There's dignity in both teams and I like both of them, on and off the field. Christian Ronaldo was a bit of a ****, and Rooney's reaction was predictable, but I still like Portugal and am quite happy they won.

PS despite the above Rooney shouldn't have done it. Maybe he'll learn.

,i guess it was all the cheating and moaning that Portugal was doing in the game , because they know they had no other way of winning , after not being able to score , and if that's the only way my team could win the would cup , i had rather loose and keep my respect, there's to much racism in this country, I've never been around so much hatred in my life before, i feel sorry for the people of the u,k that have to live in it, this country should unite together, but you know how it is some people aren't happy unless there causing trouble,or misery for others, and to honest i would be ashamed to be a member or a fan of the Portugal team after yesterday,

It was a national vomit when that cheating scumbag Ronaldo scored his penalty. I really do not believe that the majority of Welsh,Scots and Irish people support cheating and it is only the minority few like yourself who feel the need to open their mouths and let their belly's rumble. I wonder how you would feel if 45million English voices supported the team your country was playing. Tony Blair would have to pass an Act of Parliament to protect minorities!

I don't know, have I missed something?

Sorry, but I feel sad that we can't be a UNITED Kingdom.

Isn't there enough racism around ? Can't we we pleased for our neighbour's success?

I'm half Irish and I was sorry to see the England team lose.
