If "demons" are "bad' and every living thing is important, why did Jesus send the demons into the pigs? do the pigs not matter? in any case, the pigs ran into the sea, dying, and leaving their owner with a loss on his investment. did the owner not count too? and does that not amount to trickery of the demons by Someone who should not be using trickery?; and didn't the demons not know that the pigs would go ape ****? how bright exactly can they possibly be? are these really the beings who would mislead us from the path of God? I'm a catholic and I believe in God fully and completely; but sometimes I just don't understand.

I hope I can answer this briefly. When Adam and Eve sinned, they allowed satan the power and dominion over the earth - they gave up their right to 'say' and have it done (just as God said - let there be - they had the same right) When satan took over, it placed God in a position that the dominion was in satans' control. He would not usurp what man willinging 'gave up' to another. In other words - don't you think God would "make" us love and accept him if he had that power. Well, he doesn't have that power. We have that power. SO, when the legions (little satans ) "ASKED" Jesus to let them go into the pigs - he did, but because of their demonic force- Jesus still had the power to destroy and that power will never usurp the goodness of God. He would and could not allow them to live. It is not even about the man with the pigs and the economic situation he was placed in. This was the power of God at work and the saving of mankind. Trust me. If the man saw all that was taking place in his eyes, he received more than a blessing to know that he would not want those pigs anyway. You have to keep in mind that the things Jesus did on earth were not going to 'fit' the mold of what man might think is right or wrong. That's what was wrong with the world - He came to show them what was right. There were too many "you can't do this" and it had nothing to do with Jesus trying to show us the love of God.

The swine were being produced in the Holy Land, where pig was considered unclean. Jesus was living at a time when the law of Moses was the thing, so just having a pig there was illegal. When he sent Legion into the Herd, He was sending the same message to the herdsman as He sent to the money changers at the temple.. This is holy land, what are you doing here with this herd of unclean things? The pigs running into the sea was symbolic of the power of GOD to cleanse His land of all unclean things!!
Be not troubled; even a catholic has the hope of salvation. You just have a lot of dogma to shake off after you meet the real Jesus..

firstly i might want to classified those so call "demons" are the spirits of the deceased legion which i can say "ghost", but come to main point in saying: their thoughts were clouded in dismay, fear, and promises that their are in need to return to their families, spouses, and childrens after the war. Which our Brother shown no trickery but compassion to the unrest spirits by asking for the permission of our Father to accept their soul but each spirits need a flesh to do so; there our Brother plead their soul may be merged into the closes flesh, which He found a herd of swine by the farm, and by doing so the legion within the swine ran into the sea and drown for their soul are to be accepted by our Father, but Brother too left a word saying "thou shalt not slain or eat of a single swine, for it's flesh will be no diffrent than that of the legion". And personally from myself to believe that the swine-herd might not care of the little losses, for he had made a greater contribution by knowing he had aided our Brother in freeing the souls of the legion.

Aha. you're splendid. they are not kosher. This says lots with regard to the persons Jesus became attempting to witness to. The demonic spirits knew precisely what they have been doing while they asked to circulate into the pigs. They wanted to make Jesus appear as if the undesirable guy and get him kicked out of the section, it fairly is strictly what happened. fortuitously, Jesus one upped the evil angels because of the fact the former demoniac who became left in the back of became in a position to transform a lot of those villagers to Christ nonetheless his testimony.

The testaments were written soon after the Roman-Jewish war and have many references to those battles. This is one of them. They are referencing a battle in Galilee between Titus and John, a leader of the insurgency.
