if you can access the net, you can read your email.

Just go in to the same email URL you do it home ( like YAHOO email) enter your ID and password. No sweat.

There might be email systems out there that match your IP address, as a security measure. Those you could not read away from that location/computer.

Simply go to your email providers website, login with your username and password and bingo!

Also - if you use Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook I would advise to abandon that dated program which is nothing more than a tool to access the servers which you can do yourself! These programs were designed years ago when all we had was dial-up connections. This is the high-speed era and you pay the monthly fee so why not go direct?
Another point I want to make is this: you can add several email servers to a particular web-based mail. For example, if one of your email clients is, say, Yahoo, then login to that site and you can add all of your other email from options - top right of window (eg: hotmail or any other account) to be retrieved to the Yahoo account. It can be configured to be colour-coded for ID purposes too!
Send & recieve without any problems, dude - have fun!

guys
it depends on where you wanna go?
if there is any internet access while you out of home then use it as regular. but if you are a member of local Email provided just with POP3, then you can call the customer service and see the options you have.

any way try logmein.com... you can log into your computer any where around the globe. and its FREE
