Is it true that tall people want to be shorter and short people want to be taller?... I Know I am almost 5'9'' ( for a girl... thats tall) and I have always wanted to be a little shorter... how about you?

You are correct for many people. It's the classic "The grass is always greener" situation. Certainly this does not apply to everyone, but many people look at their hair color, weight, height and many other things about themselves and wish there were certain things about themselves that they could change. Things like height are tough because there is no way to change that.

Not really It makes me stand out. I just remember that I'm special because I'm tall. For people that are short their special too. Nobody is just like everybody else and I like it that way. If people all had the same size that would be one less thing special about everybody.

I am about 169cms but My mother always tell me that the tall girls are more beautiful , But when I think I see that short girls are good too , forexample I like to be about 177cms but I think the short girls are more comfortable in theire lifes and they can do anything and any body dont care about it.

i've always wanted to be taller because in the sports i play, being taller is of advantage. i play basketball, volleyball, badminton, billiards. i'm just 5'1". but i'm still happy because i can still play even if i'm short. just take advantage of what you can do with your height. :)

I'm 5'11 1/2 and i'm happy with my height. Weight is a different story..lol.
