Unfortunately I agree to an extent. I was supporting England and I have to say I thought that their penalties weren't of the standard they produce week in week out for their clubs. I mean, Lampard always scores on the spot for chelsea and gerrard has won two trophies as a result of spot kicks. I think their efforts were weak so we will never know if ricardo could save their "best", but well done to ricardo anyway.

Yes he did a good job with the penalties, but you must remember some of the penalties he faced were very poorly taken - but he did his job. I do not agree that he destroyed England though - he just saved some penalties - over all England were the better team, until the shootout.
