I was just trying to clarify, does a woman get pregnant if she has sex before or right after her periods? or whats up with that 14 day period, or a thin layer for the sperm to get through...? any experts? just have to know this you know, my girl is not ready to be a mommy...please be reall too...please

A woman can get pregnant at any time, usually 14 days after her period she's most fertile..but some women's cycle is shorter or longer so you don't really know. The only way to guarantee you won't become parents is to not have sex..birth control pills and condoms don't always work.

If she's not ready to be a mommy - then don't have sex. Although some times are more likely than others - it's always a potential outcome whenever an egg cell and a sperm cell are present together. The presence of the egg cell alone, does not determine the answer to your question, because the sperm cell can remain viable in th body for days.

Ok how it happens: A sperm ferilizes an egg.
A 14 day period is 2 weeks.
A thin layer for the sperm to get through...UH the egg has a thin outer shell that protects the DNA inside. The Spermies smash their heads into it so they can match up their DNA with the DNA inside the egg.
Please for the love of God stop having sex. If you want to save the world DON'T BREED.

you can get pregnant at anytime after sex. The 14 day thing is when you are the most fertile to get pregnant. About 90% of the sperm spilled inside her will NOT make it to her egg. but there is still a 10% chance if not in her fertile stage. More if she is

I girl can get pregnant anytime, although it is most likely 14 days after her period starts. If ya'll aren't ready for kids, you don't need to be having sex. If you refuse to stop, then make sure she is on birth control and you use a condom. But don't expect it to be 100%. I got pregnant while we were using a condom. So if she's not good enough to be your child's mother, you might wanna quit the sex.
