could someone plz tell me how to go about unlocking my dell inspiron6000 i have all the information about it, i just have to have it unlocked!!!

Do you mean the CMOS password? That's not easy to remove, but it is possible. You actually have to remove all voltage from the MOBO by removing the battery, CMOS battery and using a jumper wire across every capacitor on the board (since they retain voltage after power is removed.) Not a simple task, but it does work.

u need to remove bios battery or clear cmos
