Umm....I'm asking on the US's Y!A site, what do you think?

Most countries' immigration departments has to be as anal retentive as they can be. If they will not try to control the influx of immigrants, there will probably be some countries overpopulated by immigrants already. And I believe the first world countries will suffer the most when that happens while the 3rd world countries will have to cope with smaller labor force because everybody who can, will leave their own countries just to seek greener pastures elsewhere. :)

there are legal means and ways of becoming a CANADIAN. if you follow the rules and are a good person you will be accepted. do not try to sneak in to this country and go by the rules of some barbaric country. if you don't like immigration rules than get out. Mark my words it is only going to get tougher.

no others are just as bad, notably the Swiss and the Arabs, there is no way to immigrate to Saudi Arabia, you could work there all your life, marry local, convert to Islam and raise children, but as soon as your job ends you will find yourself on the next plane out, if the wife and kids want to stay that is their choice if they are Saudi, other wise they leave with you

in a place called Australia we are very anal retentive we imprison immigrants SO THERE.

Most are alot worse. I've heard from talk shows on the AM radio that in Mexico, if you are illegal, they throw you in jail AND make you pay for your food.
