Well some of these answers I can't do and won't... I'm eleven years old.

Just relax and not think of anything. Close your eyes and relax. If your mind is still too excited, don't force yourself to sleep. try reading a book before trying again.

Being an insomniac, I usually just wait 2 to 3 days and nights with no sleep. Not great for the brain or social life though...
I know that there are some awesome new medications that you can get by prescription, if this is a problem that you may be having, however, I do know that when I absolutely, positively need to go to sleep and haven't for days, I take 2 Benadryl and WHAM...asleep and usually a great sleep with no after effects.
Every over the counter sleep aid is Benadryl...whether Tylenol PM or Sleepeeze..all are just plain old Benadryl. But they charge an arm and a leg because they are calling it a Sleep Aid...so, if you need a good nights sleep, and want to save a ton of money, just buy some over the counter generic Benadryl and you'll be in dream land before you know it.
Now, if this isn't the type of answer you were looking for and it was just a question to people as to what will make them fall to sleep...I told you my answer...wait 2 to 3 days and nights with no sleep and pass out LOL

You have to start by decreasing all the stimulus around you; turn off the tv, lights, etc...close your eyes and think of a black chalkboard. Don't "draw" on the chalkboard, you'll start thinking then and that's not good. Benadryl also works wonders for most; try 25 mg, repeat another 25 mg in 30 minutes if you're still not asleep.

I have that problem too...what i do is i either read a book, because of the rapid and constant eye movements your eyes will get heavy and cause you to get drowsy. Or you can just lay in your bed and imagine things in your mind over and over again...sing song lyrics....make sure your closing your eyes while doing this...then your body will get used to being in the bed and your mind is occupying all your time so your body will get into a comfortable position and then you fall asleep. or else you can try to rub your feet together and what that does is take up all your energy and eventually you'll get tired of doing it and just rest from all the movement ,and your body will get tired abd make you wanna sleep.

i've got insomnia, so it's hard for me to fall asleep. sometimes when im lucky, ill read a boring book and just feel my eyes get heavy. another thing i do is turn the AC on full blast so im very comfortable and cool under my sheets. if i cant fall asleep, i get on the computer (like now) and do some online searches.

It never fails if I lay on the couch to watch a tv show I end up falling asleep. I also take Benadryl sometimes, it knocks me out.

I try and come up with 5 boy or girl names that start with each letter of the alphabet, for example for girls, April, Anna, Amy, Alicia, Amanda...Bridget, Brandy, Beth, Brittany, Brianna...etc.

If you're having trouble getting to sleep because you can't turn your brain off, it helps to distract you and by the time you get to the letter P, you're usually well off to sleep.

The secret of sleep is in what did you do that day. I mean do some exercises after you get tired try to sleep. If you do not like sport, try to solve some mathematics problems after you get exhausted try to sleep....etc.

Do not try to sleep if you did not work hard that day. It is waste for time.

i do physical work to get good sleep.closing eyes and switching off lights and no sound pollution help in sleeping
