Target is what you are actually going to hit.

basically, targets r wot one fixes or for that matter someone else for u n it need to be achieved over a stipulated time with limited resources.. where as objectives purports to the aims n what is required out of a process, like e.g. the main objective of all advertisements is to improve n increase the publicity of any product n the target could be like to gain certain amount of customers by the end of the promotion at any cost.

Means different thing to different people. In general, an objective is an abstract, such as being the sales leader in a specific category. Targets are often a quantifiable measure to see if you have made your target such as growing sales over last year by 15%.

I think a target is something aimed at,and an objective is the main idea of something/like a game plan.A target doesnt neccessarily have to have much of a point.Hope that helps.

objective is the whole aspects that you and your team will aim to do to make it happen and come into to reach the target which is achievement and if join it together with objective and target will equivalent to success.
