Which shoe you need depends more upon you than the shoe. At the high end of the spectrum, most will be lightweight, sturdy, aerodynamic, etc. What will differ is the amount of support, placement of the arch, padding, and other such things. If you are really serious about your running, take a video of yourself running your race. Show it to a trainer, doctor or other expert (i.e. not the salesman at Foot Locker) who can look at the video and then at your feet and help you determine which specifications you need and which current shoe on the market is best for you.

I wud have preffered The Nike Zoom Superfly G5.

THE LOWDOWN: Designed, developed and tested with the world's fastest sprinters. Technical sprint spike designed for the athlete looking for a supportive lockdown in a lightweight package.
OUTSOLE: Aggressive and rigid platform sprint plate with 8 receptacles and adapters. Lightweight Phylon heel pad and minimalistic forefoot pad. Replaceable spikes.
MIDSOLE: Thin Phylon wedge.
UPPER: A simple synthetic two-panel body construction creates a snug fiting upper. Forefoot strap and frame system creates a complete lockdown for maximum power transfer. Lace shroud improves aerodynamics and protects the laces from coming undone.
