A mexican water melon. The largest pumpkin in the world is not edible but the water melon is, although it would probably take you a year to eat to it and by then it would of gone off!!!

The watermelon can be grown several hundred pounds, giant pumpkins can be grown to around a thousand, but I don't know if they are edible.
