If 1 and the other 1 are numbers is logical that 1+1=2
If 1 and the other 1 are legs => 1+1= 1 body
lf 1 and the other 1 are fingers => 1+1=2/5 of the hand
if 1 and the other 1 are strand of hairs => 1+1=1/∞ of the hairs

I can tell you the answer in many ways 4/2, 1000/500, or simply 2.
Always remember that when adding 1 to a whole number the answer is always the proceding number to the number you added one.
ex:
2+1=3 (when counting whole numbers, the proceding number of 2 is 3)
3+1=4 (when counting whole numbers, the proceding number of 3 is 4)
and so on.
