You have termed your question as inept and stupid. Well when a person expresses it brings his state of mind. May be it is a bit of anguish really that some of the questions have been stupid. All said done, you have wasted a lot of people's time who also have similar frame of mind. So count how many are like you inculding this?

There are many reasons. Some possible answers are:
1. You get points for answering the question
2. They are stupid and inept (hmmmm)
3. They love the opportunity to be a smart@ss
4. They are really bored
5. They have no life
Really, the possibilities are endless. My vote is for number 2.

Who authorized another person to BO a judge . Every human is a different and think differently , and curiosity compel one to find out the answer , from one's point of view question is a very difficult project till it resolve/solve . So every individual has no right to pose as a judge .If one can not make other laugh/satisfy
