I'm 18 and had period since 3rd grade. I'm unsure of problem, I tried to look up my problem but have been given short answers that don't explain anything.
To start off, I am unsure if I had my period in April but positive that I haven't had my period in May nor June, marking that is July 1st. I haven't had sex, in any form (including oral) so as you can read; I'm a virgin and quite proud of it. But it's weird, I had some of the symtoms (more hungry than usual, influx of lower ab, extreme mood swings [almost to a insanity state]), dizziness, numbness, uncontrolled acne). I also been having flashes to one time when I was on the toilet and some unknown liquid was on the seat, I don't know if it was pre-"***" or what but I'm worried. Unlike what most people say, you can get "P.G." from contact with sperm w/o breakage from something like a penis.
So, if you know what is wrong with me (scientific name) and detailed information on it and what should I do, I would love to know.

... Argh, I wish their was a comment thing for you guys.
1. I only use virgin olive oil. BIG fan of it, it's in everything I make.
2. I was in Child Development, learned about the sperm-thing from a female doctor.

And an edit tool would be nice... I don't take meds, health pills, or birth controls since I'm against that stuff. I'm a "natural" person. I sometimes drink milk but usually only Soy Bean, cow created milk cases problems with breathing and gets me ill.

It could be any of the things your read here but then it might not. Why take a chance of trusting a person who is not a professional in the field, one that has studied the topic for years in school? Go to the Dr. for a check up and find out for sure just in case. This is not a good site for something that may be a serious condition as we can not do the medical testing that needs to be done.

relax somethinmes the anxiety also plays a role as there a change in the hormones in the body then there can be a delay in ur periods and if u by any of urs thought think um ight be pregnent just have a test done at ur home i know u are a virgin n but if any thought occurs in ur mind for the same then go ahead n do the pregnancy test atleast u would not be wooried about it further then.
and if ur periods are irregular consult a doctor for it he may prescibe u some medcines for the same and there is nothing wrong with u its just that may be the irrgeular periods are making u feel more sad and other symptoms which ur going thru.

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!! WHY WOULD YOU TAKE YOUR HEALTH IN YOUR OWN HANDS.... SEEK MEDICAL HELP...
Sorry to be so abrupt, but this is really starting to bother me. I've seen soooo many questions like this. Look by the time I was your age, I got a period every 8 months. By the time I was 22, I got it once a year. When I was 25, I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovaries). By that time, I was 5' even and weighed 150lbs. Used to be a size 3... oops. I have lost most of the wieght through my meds. However, now if I want to have kids, I have to get on fertility drugs. The only way I don't have a higher risk of life threatening problems, i.e. heart disease or many cancers, is to get a hysterectomy. Thus having NO chance of birthing my own children. But, so that I do have a chance of birthing my own, I take those many drugs everyday for that slight chance. Trust me, don't get online and try to find answers yourselve. Go to a professional. I did what you did for many years. Please heed my advice and go to a Gynocologist or Endocronologist.

First of all good job on remaining a virgin. Second, you can not get pregnant without intercourse or direct ejaculation into the vagina. Athletic females can sometimes skip periods for several months and you do not have to even be that athletic. Cheerleading is athletic enough. The other symptoms, mood swings, hot flashes, acne, dizziness could be associated with (obviously) hormonal issues in which case certain forms of the pill could help regulate. You may also want to have your thyroid tested as it could be running to fast.

Excessive weight loss or gain. Although low body weight is a common cause of missed or irregular periods, obesity also can cause menstrual problems.
Eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia. For more information, see the topic Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa.
Increased exercise. Missed periods are common in endurance athletes.
Extreme emotional stress.
Travel.
Medications, such as hormonal birth control methods, which may cause lighter, less frequent, more frequent, or skipped periods.
Hormonal abnormalities, which cause fluctuating levels of the hormones needed to support menstruation.
Illegal drug use.
Problems with the pelvic organs, such as imperforate hymen, polycystic ovary syndrome, or Asherman's syndrome.
Breast-feeding. Many women do not resume regular periods until they have completed breast-feeding

Your conditioin is called Amenorrhea. It is usually brought on by a change in weight or change in hormones.
Periods come with the prevalence of body fat and dietary fat. It sythesizes into estrogen, and motions your reproductive organs to start its cycle.
Try increasing your healthy oils such as extra virgin olive oil (try for organic) - but don't heat, and add a tablespoon of flax oil in the morning and in mid afternoon. Its tastes horrible, but drink juice afterwards.
Flax oil has a myrrad of other benefits, so you aren't doing any harm.
Look up Amenorrhea (I think I have the right spelling) in your browser.

Have you sat on any suspicious toilet seats?
Seriously though, how is your weight? If you get too thin you can get Amenorrhea. Do a search for that term to find out more....

I have had this problem and its useually nothing to worry about.
it may do with your weight or it may run in your family and sometimes you do miss periods and its often nothing to worry about . so dont sweat it
ps. you cant get pregant if you have contact with sperm. it only
works if you have sex. this has been disproven i learned it in childcare and development.

have you been excerising a lot, the absence of periods is a common side effect of people who are really obese or really underweight.
