If you're anti-Gay Marriage/Civil Union then aren't you saying gays are effectively inferior beings who are so perverse that they shouldn’t be treated like equal citizens?

All they want is what our constitution promises them. I don't see why it's such an ordeal to give it to them.

I don't think gays want special rights. I think one of the things they want, marriage, is a completely different concept traditionally speaking with two people of the same gender than a man and a woman. I don't think it's wrong, though. But because of their differences, being the same as everyone else may include some special rights. Especially when you start talking about transgendered people - should transgenders be allowed to participate in pro or olympic sports as the gender they've become, even though for example if they had been a man before they'd be stronger.

I accept as true with each and every thing you pronounced, valid factors. i imagine what ESPN potential is, Kobe and MJ opt to are very aggressive, extra so than maximum NBA gamers (which I do imagine is real). even as Dirk did not make the playoffs this 12 months, it regarded as if he merely type of shrugged it off, and used the "there is consistently next 12 months" mentality. Kobe fought and scratched and clawed until eventually his team became able to be contained in the playoffs. Switching his score first mentality to bypass and rebound mentality ( look on the numbers and also you may see he has surpassed extra this 12 months than the different 12 months). Kobe would have under no circumstances been pleased with no longer making the playoffs, besides the undeniable fact that it regarded as if dirk did not care this 12 months. and that i'm an huge Maverick and Dirk fan, were my total existence. i'm assuming your over the age of 15 due on your information of the game, so that you probable talked about Jordan play. His will became merely better than the different participant contained in the NBA, possibly in events era. He also performed with the flu, and through many injuries. even besides the undeniable fact that it really is stressful I do imagine Kobe and MJ's will to win and competitiveness is better than maximum. possibly no longer each and absolutely everyone, yet maximum.

I say give gays, lesbians, and trans-people, the same rights as everone else. To do otherwise implies they are not equals. I don't see wanting equal rights and protections as wanting "special rights" so long as you are also willing to accept the burdens and responsibilities. As an example, I am for equal pay for women in the work force, and I also advocate that they all sign up for selective service at 18 or lose the right to vote. To recieve equal rights one must also equally share the burdens of society. Fortunately I see this already in that many glt people I know contribute to society in a positive fashion, holding jobs, paying taxes, and being responsible law-abiding citizens (except for the sodomy thing, but even breeders break that law).

Personally, I don't have any problem with gay marriages. But I disagree with the idea of a gay couple (married or unmarried) adopting a child. Psychologists say that a child should be grown up in a "typical" family. Furthermore, in the future these kids will have to face social outcry... Apart from that, I believe that gay people should have the same rights as everyone else.

If the right wing wants to save "marriage" for hetros, fine, but gay couples should have the same rights, even if you need to call them "unions". Europe is light years ahead of the Evangelical America.

they just want to be seen and treated as equals, and being married for 20 years i think they should be allowed to marry to get a taste of what my wife has put me through for the last 20 years, why should only heterosexuals get put through hell.
