"Into the blue"was dramatised some years ago by ITV. It starred John Thaw and wasn't up to much even though he is such a good actor. I felt that there were much better books by Goddard which could have been adapted. My favourite is still "Take no farewell" which had the shock ending which I had to read twice before I could believe what had happened.
