The US warned the people of Palestine, if you elect Hamas, the US would not recognize them as a legitimate government, hence no foreign aid would be made available. The Palestinans went ahead and elected Hamas, with its hate mongering anti-semitic election platform. Now the Palestinians are all shocked the US actually did what it said it was going to do? Shame on the Palestinians, grow up, realize suicide bombs are not the answer and join the global economy. There's plenty of money to be made for everyone. You dont need the US's money. And besides, since it IS the US's money, they can do pretty much whatever they want with it, which includes not giving to a group of people who have no regard for their own citizens, who would use the money given them to build bombs, not feed women and children. Look to the people you elected for your relief, Palestine, before begging the US for money it doesnt owe you.

Al-Fatih of Palestine was also a terrorist organization. Arafat was a terrorist in 'Western terms' that came to the administration with a coup d'etat. That is not the main problem i think. Terrorism has never seen such a huge and clear acting terrorist 'State' like Israel before. The West helped the foundation of Israel, the West 'endorsed' the 1st and 2nd Oslo Accords, divided the territory as:%54 to Israel and %46 to Palestine... The West is now trying to integrate HAMAS, trying to keep Hamas having more or less liberty to act and rule, but as seen Israel does not let. Otherwise Hamas, having a huge popularity with its war with Israeli terrorists and not recognizing Israel ever before, would show the all what terrorism really is...

Simply because crying hoarse for democracy is good only if the elected people further the interests of the West! Look, they don't advocate elections in Saudi Arabia any more because the local govt elections in the kingdom brough forth only anti-West people! And look at their history! The Wesr hasn't supported democracy anywhere in the developing world; only dictators like Shah of Iran, Musharraf, South Viet Nam despots, all Guld personal and cirrupt fiefdoms! Come on....the best "democracy" for the West to support is what meets their interests!

If I ruled the international, i'd slowly replace it and make poverty, ailment, and ailments a lot less consumer-friendly. and that i'd employ extra UN peace keepers, and promote organizations like Amnesty international and WWF. college will be for each individual, and all lady in each usa will be dealt with both. i'd make a crew of the desirable scientists to invent treatments to each of the numerous ailments, and that i'd help each individual income free clinical get admission to. and then i'd get Johnny Depp to marry me, have a 4 million dollar wedding ceremony, and change right into a sought after singer and take a excursion with Nickelback and meet Orlando Bloom and ban Hannah Montana and Unfreeze Walt Disney, then i'd employ a plastic wide-spread practitioner and performance some lipo and surgical procedure finished, then change right into a international sought after sort...! properly, this is as logical as i am going to get. :-)

Sad but true. But then most countries are the same way. it's a wonder everyone has survived this long.
But the bigger problem is trying to resolve over a thousand years of hatred between two people that are supposed to come from the same father. Still makes me think I am missing something somewhere.

Because Hamas supports terrorism, trains terrorists, and calls for the extermination of the Israelis. Good enough reasons?

I cant support a regime determined to destroy poor Israel. You can argue that its democratically elected and in conformity with western ideals, but all said and done, these are terrorists. Where would you have israelis go? Come on, Live and let live.

hamas has a bad reputation of killing people and carrying out acts of terrorism.
that whole area is one big train wreck.
it turns out that everyone was correct in thinking that the former PLO leader Yassar Arafat was a crook.
he stole alot of $ from your people and his wife is now suddenly rich.
you should blame that guy for your problems.

Hey Greg-that's a handsome dog!

Western world doesn't recognize hamas because it's a terrorist organization-it's as simple as that.

The primary reason the the US ties to Israel. For some stupid reason, the US has been hog tied by the stupidity of the old testament/newtestament crap. Once again, religion is the cause of totally uncalled for misery, death, and human rights abuse.
