I dont think he will. spurs would be foolish to sell him no matter what the money. They are finally building a great side and this would just set them back again. Its not easy to find great players and when you have one you need to hold on to them. Yes, it would be a huge profit but Zakora is not a replacement and then we have to hunt for another Carrick. Quite simply there isn't another one!!! Plus then we are giving advantage to the teams above Spurs rather than trying to close the gap.

As a Spurs fan I would be disgusted if he went. No sense to it in the long run. We are financially stable and do not need the cash.

This is a tricky one, I tnk Jol will want to keep him due to the performabces last season but the amount of money Man U are offering is substansual. The problem with Zokora is that new player rarely make a big impact straight away and with spurs being in europe they will need carrick. Another thing is Zokora may flop, remember Diouf and many many more....

I think fergie will up the antie soon and put pressure for a deal. I hope he does not go.

It's a sad indictment of Man Utd's current situation that Michael Carrick is their number one target. He is a decent player but not worth the money Spurs are looking for. While Chelsea are buying up players like Ballack and Shevchenko,Man Utd are struggling to convince players like Carrick to join.Only a few short years ago,any player in Europe would have jumped at the chance to join United but no longer.

Spurs shouldn't sell him but they will and he might as well go to The Rags as they may qualify for uefa spot with him in the team

It definitely looks like, for an overpriced figure of 16 million.
