on a day to day basis do you (female) often feel some how objectified if not verbally or physically harrassed do you see a sort of state of mind inwhich you think the average male perceives you?

Yes...I deal with it often. It's not always comfortable. Once in awhile it could be a little thrill, depending on who's giving the attention (e.g. boyfriend). But usually, it's inconvenient, especially if I'm doing nothing to attract it...i.e. modest clothing just going about my business. Realistically though, I have no control over what others think of me and I cannot walk around surrounded by a cardboard box. I figure as long as they don't hurt me, go ahead and look...just don't talk to me.

On a day to day basis, I am objectified constantly- "did you see that girl with the big t*ts" to the old and tired "would you like fries with that shake". My daughter has had the same difficulties. I have been "goosed" on the train and asked inappropriate questions because of my physical endowments.Most men that I have come across first think of sex, then then person who sparked the thought instead of the other way around.I believe if men would take one second and think "if this was MY SISTER..." then half of the unbelievable behaviors would end.

i think women have to deal w/ the fact that any man that looks at'm is or has had a fantasy about them.. any man that acts on it is easily compared to a dog humping someones leg.. wouldn'tcha think?
