Senator of Illinois, but this guy is becoming really well-liked and popular in politics. He sounds like a cool guy to me, I am positive he'd be a more competent leader than george w bush

I was very impressed with his message at the last Democratic Convention. He is very articulate and seems to possess great intelligence, two charactistics that have been absent from the White House for the last six years. With some seasoning, he would make a great candidate for the presidency.

I happened to turn the TV on to the Democratic convention, just before he stood up to speak.
That was the first time I had heard of Mr. Obama.
As I listened to him, my thought was that I was listening to the future, first black president of the United States.
What an intelligent man, with a great amount of common sense!
I'll vote for him.

He is a classic example of what determination is all about. Given his background, (his roots are in Kenya) hes an inspiration to multitudes wallowing in great poverty all over the world. Hes got my vote anytime.

He is intelligent and very appealing. I have heard him speak many times and am always impressed. He will do well in the coming years....he is a hottie also.

whoa there....he's too green....hasn't proven himself yet....this is only his first term as senator.....time and experience, and what he will do with it will be his truest test........let's see how high he rises or how low he stoops....2012? 2016? perhaps!
