Yes, Johnson will be starting. Priest needs to be cleared by the doc to play. As soon as he gets cleared, the Chiefs will not let him stand on the sidelines. Ya know, before Priest got hurt, everybody was on his bandwagon. LJ comes in and runs rampid and wows the league. Despite LJ being a great back, doesn't this say something for the Chiefs running game? Coach Herm could be a thousand yard rusher.

Priest Holmes is the backup to Larry Johnson by way of back-to-back harm plagued seasons. Priest Holmes is likewise thinking retirement in a pair of years by way of his important injuries. If Priest Holmes hurts his neck or back badly back, he may be paralyzed. Thats why hes being saved as a backup.

Well...I am the biggest Priest Holmes fan in the world. i hate to say Johnson will start because of the following reasons:
he's younger, healthier, the coach said he'd stard 4 months ago.
If johnson gets hurt Holmes will take over.....they will both get the ball...if i know anything about Holmes it's that he never quits, runs with his heart, can come back from any injury, pushes himself, is a good person, and is a freakin TD machine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Johnson. Holmes at this point is injured, and is a question mark to even be an effective backup. I'm not counting him out, but after Johnson's run last year, the Chiefs won't bench him

LJ will start. Priest has not proven that he is shape yet. He needs to prove himself as a quality player again. If Larry had not had such a good year after Priest went down, Priest would be coming in as the starter. But he is old and has TONS of wear on his body. LJ is young,a nd without all the wear, he WILL start game 1 and beyond.

The team would have to be crazy and have their head checked if they did not put Larry Johnson out there first. He is the real deal this year.

LJ has been named the starting HB....After Priest went down with his neck injury last season....Johnson took over the last nine games and averaged over 150 yards per game....1750 yards, a 5.2 average per carry and 20+ TD's will get you a starting job...Plus the fact, Holmes has still not been cleared to play...
